Yoshikazu Isa, 100, of Hilo died April 21, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center . Born in Hilo, he was the owner of the former Y. Isa Vegetable Store in the former Olaa and member of the Puna Hongwanji Mission, Hui Okinawa, Kawailani Ridge Kumiai and the former Big Island Bonsai Association.

Friends may at 4 p.m. May 14 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by, sons, Stanley (Peggy) Isa of Honolulu, Melvin (Brenda) Isa of Hilo, Wayne (Joan) Isa of Las Vegas, Ricky (Maria) Isa of Garden Grove, Calif.; brothers, Tamotsu (Haruko) Isa of Santa Barbara, Calif., Isawo Isa of Honolulu; sisters, Kiyoko Imada of Keaau, Toyoko (Tim) Miyasato of Hawaiian Paradise Park; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
